Zimbabwe Civil Servants Get April Pay Rise as Nurses Plan Strike
The Zimbabwean government has confirmed a salary adjustment for civil servants effective today, April 1, 2026, linked to a job evaluation exercise. The announcement comes as the Zimbabwe Nurses Association prepares to down tools from April 15 unless their demands are met. The lowest-paid workers will take home US$296, up from US$253.
